a high of 36

Today will be the warmest day we will see for over a week. The chickens are handling the temperature change valiantly, though I am worried about the upcoming lows of nine below.

Somehow, we are still getting eggs every day. A few of the chickens have been laying in the rafters, so those eggs are frozen and marked for the dogs. Who, quite honestly, have no idea what to do with them.

Luckily, my job is kind and lets us leave early before holiday weekends. I will have plenty of time to tighten up the coop and get the dogs nice and comfy, because I am going to minimize their outdoor time for the next few nights.
