I officially have internet at the farm again. I loved having a break from having it, but my job allows me to work from home and being able to stay home and get things done will be invaluable this growing season.
The onions are starting to germinate. The Moldovan Balm germinated much more quickly than I was told it would, which is fantastic! But also, now I have to keep up with it for the next 10 weeks.
Some of the peppers are starting to germinate. The fish pepper and one of the habaneros are about to pop through, which once again – sooner than anticipated, but I’m also really happy about.
I need to start another round this week, primarily herbs. I bought rosemary and lavender seeds for the year, but they are so difficult to start and take so long that it doesn’t make sense. I might try when the weather is warmer, but for now spending $5 at the local nursery is the direction I’m going to go.
I’m going to try to get the last of the raised beds built this weekend. I’m hoping to get the bulk soil delivered in a week or so. It will depend entirely on the amount of rain we get and how quickly the ground dries.
